NekonyancerAt beginning of the game, you'll start with three patients in your ward.

NekonyancerBefore the game starts, we have to set the numbers on our starting dice.
They must be set to *3, 4, and 5,* but we can control which dice have these numbers.
These numbers represent the health of the patient. The higher the number, the healthier they are!

NekonyancerNext, we have to choose an *administrator.*

NekonyancerDice Hospital is divided into eight rounds, indicated by this dial here. Each round is divided into 6 phases. BGA takes care of half of them though, so we just have to worry about:
1. Patient intake
2. Hospital improvement

We can pick a fancy new department or hire a new doctor.

*The Allergy Centre* lets us treat three green patients if they all have the same number.
*The Triage Nurse* treats an additional two patients when he treats anyone. However, these additional dice must have a 1, 2, or 3.

Time to go to work! Everyone starts with three nurses. In this phase, we will send those nurses (along with any other doctors we acquire) to work in various departments to treat our patients.

NekonyancerEveryone starts with *Pharmacy, Critical Care Unit, and Oncology* departments.
If you send a nurse to work in one of these three, you can treat one patient of the shown color.

NekonyancerEach hospital also starts with *clinic, intensive care, and imaging* departments.

NekonyancerEach hospital also has a mortuary. If a patient's number falls all the way to zero, they go here. Every death incurs a 2 point penalty at the end of the game!

If we want, we can make ourselves first player by choosing a *lower* ambulance than our opponent. That would give us first dibs for those juicy hospital departments!

NekonyancerIf you want to get more of your patients discharged at once, I suggest using a *blood bag* or two! Each blood bag allows you to treat any patient by one step, without using any doctors or departments! You can also use one to change a patient's color for one turn!
