On my 10th round, my 4th dwarf went on an expedition and selected #12, putting a field on the forest. After that, the top of the interface was fine like normal, but no spots showed up that I could click. I tried clicking the top tile on and off, but it still didn't work.

Your bug has probably been fixed already, or was linked to a temporary failure of BGA service.
In any case, when filling a bug report, make sure to have an explicit title linked to the incident (ex: with error message), so other players can recognize it and vote for it.
