When I'm on an ultrawide monitor ( 3440 x 1440 ) with browser window maximized, the game UI scales to fill the entire width, which is a problem because then the bottom half of the map can be cut off, making it not a helpful amount of scaling. It seems many other BGA games have more of a fixed size, or at least a limit to how large they will scale in the interest of keeping a standard look to the UI. My possible suggestions include:
1. Stop scaling at a certain point, perhaps such that a good amount of UI (map and player card perhaps) fills the vertical size of the browser.
and/or
2. When browser window aspect ratio starts getting wide enough, move the player cards to the right of the map, and left of the game log, utilizing ultrawide aspect ratios more effectively. -

I have opted to restrict the track height to fit within the current window height when the layout is in landscape mode. I have mild concerns that this is going to create a bubble wrap problem and down the track we'll find that it causes problems on a different resolution/aspect ratio BUT it seems to be behaving for now on all common resolutions I was able to look at - although I was only able to simulate 3440x1440 as I don't have an ultrawide monitor, so I'd love to hear if it's sorted it for you or if there are still issues.
I think I might add a toggle button on the page or something so that players can use an individual preference.
It's now a toggle button. By default, the track will fill to your width, but if that leaves it taller than your window then an "Enlarge to fill"/"Shrink to fit" toggle button appears after the track name.
The toggle button sets a cookie, so if you click it once then it should remember the setting for this particular device (although if it forgets once or twice over the coming few weeks it probably means I've been tweaking it and changed how cookies work).
