The game seems to work fine in general. Here are some things that came into my mind while playing:

The animation of the president is strange, when moving more than 1 area, as several presidents pop up. It would be better to understand to have these animations one after the other.
3) I wonder if the placement action (e.g. granted by church) could be done more fluent (ideally this would be one action per move: select an assistant and a destination). Perhaps at least the second action could take into account the first selecetion, e.g. by hiding the "hand" button when the assistant comes from the hand.
4) I accidentally clicked on foreign assistant when an empty area was selected and wasted it. A confirmation dialogue would have been good.
5) Sometmes it is possible to click and select elements on the cards (shop spots), when this does not make sense. Another time it was not possible to select a shop spot when I should do so - F5 helped.

3)Please explain. When the Church management board opens it automatically selects the spot according to your current faith. Selecting items at the top advances the spot. Unselecting items backs the spot. You never have to select an assistant.
4)When you have the possibility to play your agent, only tiles having 1 of your assistant are made selectable. If this was not the case for you, can you give me more details.
5) When the warehouse is presented, it should highlight only the shops and trading houses for which you have enough yens. Since it does know what your choice will be, it is possible that you can't buy all of your selections. For example if you have only 4 yens it will make 2 shops and 1 trading house selectable. If you decide to take 1 shop then you won't have enough yens for the trading house. Is that what you meant by does not make sense?
3) I meant the action which takes place afterwards, where you can move agents from the hand to an area, or from one area to another, or back to hand. Every action is split into two phases (select origin, select destination). My idea was if that could be done in one step, and the interface checks if an area and one assistant (on board, or a placeholder on the player panel) are selected. If not, the text in the action bar could be more precide to help players figure out what to do. In my first game I did not understand that at first, creating several error messages (you cannot move from hand to hand).
4) OK, perhaps I did not get it right. If you change it that you are not asked every turn (as suggsted elsewhere), this problem is not a problem anyway.
5) I meant when e.g. moving the president or placing assistants, sometimes several of the shop spaces are selectable, but in this phase only areas should be. And if I remember correctly I had the situation to build a shop, and there were available spaces, and they had a dashed border, but for some reason clicking them did not do anything.
Point 5. Strange. Never seen that. That's going to be hard to reproduce. Does it happen often? If so is there a particular sequence? It looks like the page does update completely after an action notification.
Update on 5)
I have two different situations.
5a) You should select an area. Additionally one ore more shop spaces are available. It happens sometimes. I will have a look when playing again and try to see if I can detect when it happens and when not. In this case when you want to select the area but click on the shop space, it selects the shop space instead. So this is not a real problem, as you can select the area by clicking elsewhere.
5) This is more a problem. In my latest game it happened twice that I was offered to build a shop, and all slots were marked with a dashed border, but clicking them did nothing. This was not just visual, as hitting the ok button I got an error message that I have to select a slot. After F5 it worked again, the selected slot got a red border.
In the first case there was also a "-1" written next to the president.
