Regarding 3) We had the same issue in a game some weeks ago, but the button has been renamed in the meantime, so the label actually changes when pressing it, so I find it clearer now, but it is called "quarry ability" while the rules call them "quarry bonuses", so I would suggest "bonus" should be used instead.
