The tutorial for The White Castle is not shown translated. My first language is German. Nekonyancer, the author of the tutorial, has confirmed that the tutorial has live status. So it should load the localized version.

I first wrote a bug report for the game, but the developper said it's part of the website programming: boardgamearena.com/bug?id=160330

Same issue with „Mythicals the boardgame“, the tutorial is displayed in English, even so translation exists since February 13th.

Same issue with „Great Western Trail: El Paso“:

for this game, not all tutorial texts have been translated so far, but even tutorial texts, where translations exist (for more than 5 days) are displayed in English. (My main language is German).

This doesn't seem to be language dependent, at least it is the case for all combinations of games (that are listed here) and languages I checked

It seems to be that the text translated into german has not yet been validated, until it's validated the text will not show. It takes a month for a BGA translation to validate, which is done in order for people to check if it's translated right, and if not translated right it can be retranslated by people.

No, SebaProDK, it's just the other way around: Each translated text should be released within 24 hours in order to allow players / tutorial viewers to check it. For checking it, people need to see each text in context with other texts and the interface. If a text is not released, it can not be checked. It wouldn't be changed if incorrect and it would be automatically validated as correct after 30 days.

Even though it would be optimal for BGA to release it during the first 24 hours that is not how they do it. On BGA it takes 30 days before a translation is validated, not 24 hours.

The nightly updated translations is placed under, I fixed some translations, but they don't appear to have changed on the site? Which means that changes to validated translations will appear in less than a day, this does not apply to not validated translations.

I received a complaint from another user about this exact issue. Like Thomas, cigma, and SebaProDK, this user was trying to view tutorials in German, so it seems that this is a German-specific issue.

This user said that many tutorials are affected by this. He first noticed the problem a few months ago.

I hope it can be fixed quickly! :)

to sum this up:
MANY tutorials are not shown in German although the texts have been translated previously.
This problem does exist in German but NOT in French.
This will lead to many games not being played or players being forced to use an English tutorial although the texts have already been translated.

Please check and fix this! Thanks

Same for Stalk Exchange. I would like to help translate this tutorial, but can't find it in the translation pane.

The tutorial for „The White Castle“ is now displayed in German language (if this is your main language).

I don’t know why, but it seems that this bug got solved at least / only for „The White Castle“ (tutorials of some others games are still displayed in English only).

The tutorials for Zookeepers, Dungeon Designer (StonespineArchitects) und Shut the Box werden jetzt auch auf Deutsch angezeigt. (Die Tutorials für Mythicals und Mojo werden aber immer noch nicht in Deutsch angezeigt).

@eneri: The tutorial for Stalk Exchange is still in beta. As any other tutorial, it's open for translation only after changing to live status.

these two tutorials are still in English for months now (first checked in March).

hooray, only one more known issue existent:

But as it is unknown how many other games have the same problem, it would be nice to fix the root cause of this issue instead of ignoring it (which seems to be the current strategy).

another month passed. The tutorial has been translated in February and is still displayed in English (instead of German)

this time it struck the Cardia tutorial. The game is freshly released. And for some days now the freshly released game has an English tutorial in the German version. For a German publisher this is a crazy state.
