I know what random looks like, and this is not random. I've played about 20 games of Can't Stop and nearly every game had at least one instance of all 12 dice being the same number - this often happens several times in a game (upwards of 3 or 4). If my math is correct, this event should have a 6^12 chance of happening (1 in 2,176,782,336). - 2.1 billion.
In addition to the 12 equivalent dice in a row, I regularly see patterns that clearly aren't random. For example: 5-5 2-2 5-5 2-2 5-5 2-2. Then the next roll: 2-3 3-2 2-3 3-2 2-3 3-2. If this happened just once in a while it'd feel random, but rolls like this are all but commonplace. I don't know if the "random" function doesn't work in the code, or if there's some sort of glitch in browser compatibility. All I know is that it's anything but random.
When you see your opponent open on 7 4's in a row, and then two 12's before you even get a chance to take your first turn, you begin to not want to play any dice games on boardgamearena. -

The four dice in the upper left represent the actual dice roll, which is random (in my experience). The twelve dice on the right are showing the combinations that can be made from the roll of the four dice.
Like you roll 1, 4,4 and 5, you get
(1+4)=5 & (4+5)=9
or
(1+5)=6 & (4+4)=8
or
(1+the other 4)=5 again & (4+5)=9
so
5&9
6&8
5&9
You'll easily understand that as soon as you have any double, it reduces the possibilities, and getting at least a double has 1-(5^3/6^3) = 42% chance to happen.
Also a triple has 1/36 chances, and a quadruple 1/216.
Hope this helps.

It is of course possible that the generator is not random in another way.
For the most part, I'm enjoying playing games on boardgamearena.com but this lack of actual randomness seems to be at play in other games, as well. Until this is addressed and debugged, I'll stay a free member. I don't have the money to contribute to an online game site that doesn't truly give each player random chances during their turns.
Definitely not strong enough in this kind of game, please switch to some SSL lib that have crypto grade random generator (should be the case for any game that highly rely on it).
To me it seems that even if a human would throw a dice in real life and input the result into the game, people would still believe that it is not random.
Every time people claim this, there is no statistical analysis to support what they perceive.
On the first turn of the game one player got the entire column 8. The next they finished 7. Then 5. Only three rounds in a three player Can't Stop game can only be the cause of extremely not randomized dice rolls. Please fix.
Again, the player got the entire column 8 on his first turn, before I even had a chance to go. You MUST fix this.
Opponent got entire column 8 in one turn.
Opponent got entire column 11, with terrible odds. People take a lot of turns get lucky like that way too often; it is not a one-time thing.
Don"t waste your time.
Often, when I am the player with the least Elo-rank, I got the most "not possible" options, while the player with the highest rank gets his columns fastly.
It´s seems that the odds for winning are higher, if you have already a higher rank...
One player got the entire column 8 in a single turn with 6, 7, and 8, and the other player completed 12 in one turn with a 5, 7, and 12. I got last place in this game when I would've for sure gotten second place if not for the rigged dice rolls.
No acknowledgment about a bug that was reported 2+ years ago?
One player ended up getting the entire column 6 in one turn with 6-7-8, and the other player got column 10 on a 3-8-10 by progressing 4 times up the ten column (which in itself is not statistically probable), but then the player continued on just 3 and 8, and managed to move the 8 up about five times, handing them a win.
You hardly need to know the basics of probability to understand that this is not true randomness at all, and I am disappointed that this has been reported for so long without any acknowledgement from developers. As someone above said, it certainly makes people not want to play dice games on BGA. I'm sorry, but despite the BGA FAQ saying that their randomizer has a "cryptographically secure randomness," the dice rolls are not at all random in this game and others.
The probability in this case is incredible small, so I think there is a bug.
