Too many games have moves which require a single click. The example today was Targi. I accidentally pressed ‘keep card in hand’ instead of ‘play’. Fat finger syndrome! It was still my turn and I was helpless to rectify it. I had to discard 2 goods, will need to waste a move placing on ‘Noble’ space, and won’t receive the card advantages! That could easily throw the game for me. There would be no disadvantage having an undo option. It’s starting to put me off playing games on here, as a single error, such as this makes me want to immediately end the game.

Raportų istorija
From recent plays, I see that Verdant is newly in beta and has no undo functionality. Yokohama has undo at some points in the gameplay but not others (even when no information is revealed). And other games we play have inconsistent implementation of the undo functionality.
Most boardgames on this site have the boardstate change a LOT more than in chess. Chess, while complex, is pretty finite of understanding what can and will occur. The number of elements that change state on games can lead to complex interaction of pieces, resources, and rule understanding about the state that you might not intend.
If you want to imagine it another way, when you touch your piece in chess, you can feel free to 'undo' your intended place you wanted to put it but are free to move elsewhere until you lay the piece down. Likewise in BGA if you confirm your move the move is done and it's too late then.
And another thought to consider, what happens if you made an improper move due to either the web or mobile interface? All I can see is that without incorporating an undo feature on games that allow it is frustration and people leaving BGA. If you want to advocate for a 'no takesies backsies feature' that disables undo, feel free and I'm sure developers that CAN incorporate an undo feature easily should be able to make a feature to disable it without much trouble.
That being said I also have fat finger syndrome, though I think the solution here is more of a need for all actions to require confirmation before taking any move that can prevent further undos or ending your turn.
That’s just my 2 cents!
Chess is a good example, but not for what the original commenter suggested. In most chess games, unless you're playing a tournament (or a stodgy opponent), you're allowed to take back a move. The BGA Undo policy seems to encourage that strict/stodgy form of playing without realizing that most players don't enforce "no takebacks".
Most players don't care if new information is revealed by the play of a card, because the only person that new information typically hurts is the person who revealed that card/tile/whatever from their hand. So...if it's not worth it to the player who revealed a card to take it back and play another, then they don't have to use the undo feature.
Undo buttons should not exist at all, the amount of AP added to games does not align with the fast pace of playing on line instead of person. Spending coding time on this buttons that is not related to the game rules or flow is a waste of time.
The argument saying in Chess you cannot take back is wrong: I am a Chess player and in online turn by turn Chess, you always have a validation of your move. So you cannot have a misclick.
If there is a move confirmation it would be ok as well.
For me and many others, reliable undo is a make or break for an implementation. If you don't like undo-s, cool don't use it, but I feel developers should help facilitate people play the way they want. Be considerate of what matters to us.
It would be up to the opponent to judge whether they want to grant the undo. This doesn't fix all cases of misclicks but people can usually tell when it was a genuine misclick. In online dominion it is considered extremely normal (especially at the higher level) to always give people the undo they requested if their action didnt reveal new information. Personally I have never encountered someone bitter enough to not grant it there, and id say 90+% of people on BGA would also grant it. And as a bonus: Most people prefer fast play and not having to second guess every permanent click definitely increases overall speed.
