Especially for turn based games, there needs to be an option to skip each kind of decision in which there is exactly one option. The game is all but unplayable turn-based when forced to acknowledge all of the fiddly little options that you can't take (but potentially could if you had the right cards).
I certainly agree that for seriously competitive play you wouldn't want to use that option, but for casual or infrequent play it would be invaluable. -
