In our game, we all thought that the colour to avoid was green, since the "label" with 7+ on it is green. It is an unfortunate graphical design choice to begin with that the text and symbols on the game board are green, just like one of the 3 tile colours. I understand that we cannot change that.
But it should be possible to change the shape of the colour indicator for Expansion A from a hexagon to a square tile. It will be a lot easier to recognise it as the colour to avoid when it's the same shape as a tile in the game. In our game, the red hexagon was simply taken to be a background feature, and ignored by all players.
Also, when hovering with the mouse pointer, the tooltip was "...least tokens of this type..." not "...least RED tokens...". I understand that it would be more complicated (for coding and translation) to make different tooltips for different options, but there are only 3 colours and 5 animals, so it's not incredibly difficult. -
